About KMP SK
KMP SK is an independent starter kit for developers building Android and iOS products with Kotlin Multiplatform.
Why it exists
New mobile products repeatedly need the same unglamorous foundation: authentication, networking, persistence, offline behavior, design patterns, build configuration and quality checks. KMP SK assembles that work into a source project so a new app can begin with its own product decisions.
What's inside
Beyond the architecture, the kit ships eight clean-room feature flows — focus sessions, cart and checkout, resource scheduling, an adaptive reader, reviews and feedback, live operations, a media workspace and an audio queue — each with three connected screens and reusable components. A four-axis theming system (eight palettes, five visual styles, light and dark) and repository-level instructions for six coding agents round out the starting point.
What it is—and is not
It is a Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform codebase with shared conventions and working examples. It is not a hosted app builder, a replacement for engineering judgment or a promise that every provider choice fits every product. You own the adaptation, brand, backend and release of the apps you build with it.
Built for independent product work
The kit is designed for solo developers and small teams that value a clear structure, full source access and a one-time license. Building the same foundation by hand — architecture, auth, networking, offline data, design system and sample screens — is roughly 160 hours, or about four weeks of full-time work. KMP SK compresses that into a single purchase. Review the complete feature set, inspect the architecture and choose the tier that matches the updates and support you need.
